International Culinary Studio has been developing and offering internationally accredited online culinary programmes for the past six years. All programmes offered lead to professional qualifications and have been developed by culinary industry experts from around the world.
Our Global Diploma and Global Advanced Diploma in Professional Cookery courses are designed to meet the outcomes of the Worldchefs Global Hospitality Certification. International Culinary Studio has been approved to offer the Commis Chef and Chef de Partie digital certification. This recognition has been created by City & Guilds in partnership with Worldchefs and employers and is the first and only professional hospitality skills framework globally. Both courses also have ACFEF approval. We are proud of our successful graduates working in commercial kitchens or who have started their own culinary business around the world.
The Global Professional Cookery Program Range:
- Global Certificate in Professional Cookery – Entry level program for those considering a career as a chef.
- Global Diploma in Professional Cookery – Gives students the technical skills required to become a successful chef in industry. On course conclusion and industry hours met, the Commis Chef Digital Certification is issued.
- Global Diploma in Patisserie – For those chefs wanting to focus on pastry and baking in a commercial kitchen.
- Global Advanced Diploma in Professional Cookery- For chefs working in commercial kitchens requiring supervisory skills and advanced cookery techniques. On completion of course and industry hours met, the Chef de Partie Digital Certification is issued.
Digital Certification provides a secure way to showcase achievements online, using social media, making achievements visible and accessible.
On completion of the Global Diploma in Professional Cookery and the associated industry hours, the holder can be awarded the Worldchef Certified Commis Chef badge. This means they are a professional cook who has experience of working in a food service operation. They are part of a kitchen brigade and responsible for performing a variety of basic cooking and baking tasks, under the supervision of a professional chef.
On completion of the Advanced Global Diploma in Professional Cookery and the associated industry hours, the holder can be awarded the Worldchef Certified Chef de Partie badge. This means they are an experienced professional chef working under the direction of a sous chef or a head chef. Within this role the individual is responsible for operating one or more designated sections in the kitchen, such as grill, sauce section, larder and/or pastry section.
