Extensions are not given automatically; you need to apply for an extension to International Culinary Studio via the Learner Management System.
There are 4 types of extensions:

|Short term extension||Complete industry placement or Portfolio of evidence||Must have completed up to Module 13|
Must apply 7 days before course end date
Maximum period of extension up to 8 weeks
|Maximum period of extension 2 weeks|
|Attendance at an exam||Unable to attend an examination||Must notify International Culinary Studio at least 2 hours prior to the start of the exam|
Reasons for extensions:
Extension approvals are entirely discretionary.
Applications must include supporting documentation.
If a student fails to submit their assignment by the close of the extension period, they could be at risk of being withdrawn from their programme of study.
